We have been getting many, many inquiries and complaints about “us” repeatedly calling people at all hours of the day, asking for personal information or payments.
We would like to assure everyone that this is NOT us calling.
We do not conduct cold calling, and we will never call you to ask for payment.
These scammers are sometimes using the name “Consumers Insurance Association”. We only go by one name, Consumers Insurance Agency, and we only have ONE phone number associated to our business. If you get a call from ANY other number besides 717-763-7631, it is NOT us calling.
Often times these scam calls are out of state area codes. Never give your personal or payment information out if you are unsure of the caller.
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion. Scam calls are frustrating, and we understand that. “Consumers” is a very general term, so it makes it easy for scams to be made under that name.
All of the numbers that have been reported to us claiming they are Consumers Insurance Agency have been passed along to the FCC.
